♥Be Blessed by the Light of God's Countenance♥

Today I read this prayer and found this article which I extracted:
"The LORD bless thee, and keep thee: the LORD make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee: the LORD lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace."

- Num 6:24-26

God is the light. In Him there is no darkness.His light permeates all places. May He shine on us and be gracious to us. in all our turmoil and need, in all our desperation and inadequacy, in all our sinfulness and brokenness, and light up everything to show us everything He sees when He looks at us, so we can see too, and so, we can recognize, repent and turn from those things and be redeemed and restored to live life as God created us to live it. Even we do not deserve His light, warmth, acceptance and favour ... that's the wonder of it all. God wants to give those to us, because of who He is, His character, His love for us, His desire to forgive, His desire for a relationship with us, His desire to heal us and grant us abundant life. By His grace, we can draw ever closer to Him and be transformed in our lives and thinking from glory to glory, so that we walk in victory and truth, no matter what crosses our path.

God is our peace. He gives us His peace, not a peace like the world gives, but real peace, a peace that flows from His Holy Spirit living inside us, when we give our lives to Him. This is a peace which brings true wholeness ... in reconciliation to God, so no sin puts a gulf between us and Him; in reconciliation with man in relationships, so having received His forgiveness, we, too, have the power to forgive; in reconciliation to our own bodies, so we care for them as God's holy temple; in reconciliation with our own souls, which enables us to build righteous character and reflect our Creator, rather than live out the profane, self-centered character our flesh wants us to form. When God lifts up His countenance upon us, and we bask in the light and favor emanating from Him, we are enveloped in His perfect -- nothing can disturb us -- peace, regardless of the circumstances we face ... regardless of death or life, loss or gain, have or have not.

So for you, I pray: May the LORD bless you, and keep you: the LORD make His face shine upon you and be gracious unto you: the LORD lift up His countenance upon you, and give you peace.

♥Every New Day A New Blessing♥

As I opened my eyes today, I was thankful for a  brand new day. I read the comments on my last status on facebook about the shocking incident yesterday. We are blessed, so blessed and loved. Give your lives to God and be blessed, be shined upon His light, be given His peace, real peace, for God living in You without fear as you walk your path in light and in truth. Every new day a new blessing, cherish and live in the present, the gift of God.

Learn and grow from the bad and good along your path. There is no point to be in despair for things already happened or to worry things that have not happened. What you can have is this very moment. Cherish and live in the present. Notice the beauty in life with an open and grateful heart. Love life and live love.

Things Just Happen

Oh my god, a shocking terrible thing happened five hours ago. The ceiling light dropped down and banged onto my coffee table. My son said he could felt the vibration as he sat almost right on the top upstairs. It was lucky that I had some fruits on the table, which alleviated the impact on the glass of my coffee table. The ceiling light was installed three years ago when I moved into the house. It was heavy with an approximately 18 inches x 12 inches chrome metal base with tiny crystals hanging down. I think the incident was due to the ceiling is just plaster board and extra installation care is needed and unfortunately my friend who did the installation for me is not a technician. Anyway I am so grateful and thankful to God that no one was hurt and my favourite coffee table is fine. This incident reminded me another similar happening that part of the cement board of the ceiling fell down when my sons were sitting right below doing homework in their bedroom 8 years ago in Hong Kong soon after we moved to a new apartment. We were lucky that I bought the space-saving bed with a wardrobe and a desk below the bed for each of my sons and the cement fell onto the bed and they were not hurt. Before the incident we did see cracks on the ceiling and reported to the management of the developer but they did not care to respond promptly. We are so blessed as I cannot imagine what if my sons were sleeping on the beds and what if we were standing around the coffee table today. I am grateful and thankful to God. May God bless you all. ♥Nothing Is Real But God♥

Today I had a long talk with my spiritual wise friend and at the end I had this thought: "Nothing is real but God" and so I searched on the internet for some inspiration and found this poem.

♥A Sip of Wine♥

Nothing matters but love for God”

Oh Lord,
My eyes believe that all they see is real —
Are not these stones and trees and birds and bees
and creatures of the earth and sky and sea real?

My lover, they are not real,
the Self within them is what’s real.
Their forms are only shadows cast
that come and go
from nothing to nowhere.

See them, love them,
but upon them do not depend.

And my Lord,
what of men who speak and walk and love and hate,
who laugh and cry with joy and pain,

are they not real — like You and I?

The Self within them is what’s real,

When you experience this, my work is done.

though in this dream my life’s displaced
and found again when you’re effaced.

Know Me.
Love Me.

♥Quiet And Still♥

Once in a while, it would be very beneficial to be quiet and still to relax and forget all the turmoil in life. Today is such a day when I came across this little poem and image:

♥ A Dream in My Beautiful Garden ♥

Today I've got mail. I love the movie "You've Got Mail". I watched many times. Haha I can't say many, maybe a few hahaha, I just enjoyed it. I love the sweet smile of Meg Ryan and the kind of funny serious look of Tom Hanks and it is a very lovely romantic story. Anyway, I am glad to hear from my smart spiritual friend. It is a blessings to be loved and to love no matter what and how life unfold and I always dream and hope...
