New Beginning An Authentic Life

Today is a new start of my authentic life journey. My friend advised me to write my wishes list on which the things that I mostly love to do and start acting on it. Here comes this blog, the first thing of my list. (((^-^))) There are so many ups and downs in life. It is of great importance that you have passion on things to get you moving forward and live life to the fullest. Sometimes you have inertia to live in your old habits and just live with all the excuses and laziness. Yet life is so short and you just live once. For sure you do not want to regret as you look back at the end of your life that you could have done so much better. So would you think of making a list of wishes and act on it from today...

One day you finally knew
what you had to do, and began,
though the voices around you
kept shouting
their bad advice --
though the whole house
began to tremble
and you felt the old tug
at your ankles.
"Mend my life!"
each voice cried.
But you didn't stop.
You knew what you had to do,
though the wind pried
with its stiff fingers
at the very foundations,
though their melancholy
was terrible.
It was already late
enough, and a wild night,
and the road full of fallen
branches and stones.
But little by little,
as you left their voices behind,
the stars began to burn
through the sheets of clouds,
and there was a new voice
which you slowly
recognized as your own,
that kept you company
as you strode deeper and deeper
into the world,
determined to do
the only thing you could do --
determined to save
the only life you could save.
